You don’t always realise how far you’ve come until you look back at where you’ve been. Through the storms, you did not think you would survive. Over the mountains, you did not think you had the capacity to climb. But you did. And you’re here. And that within itself is worth celebrating. You are worth celebrating.

About Me

Over the past 18 years, I have honed my strategic communication skills by working with various organisations across industries in Singapore, the Asia Pacific region, Australia, and New Zealand, including retail, hospitality, shipping, banking, insurance, and education.

I believe in the incredible power of communication and that it's an ongoing process that shapes our connections and understanding. I also feel fortunate to use my skills to help organisations connect with people in meaningful ways and distinguish themselves in their branding.

I am leading initiatives to enhance communication and collaboration among over 1,500 employees in the largest faculty at a higher education institution in Auckland.

In addition to my professional pursuits, I am an avid middle-distance runner and a self-taught cook. I am fascinated by languages and am working on adding te reo Māori and Korean to my existing repertoire while also studying for a part-time Master of Communications Leadership.

I am of Chinese and Malay descent and was born and raised in Singapore. In 2018, I made the decision to leave the comforts of home and start a new life in New Zealand.

I thrive on challenges and value consistency and honesty. People often describe me as capable, responsible, and steely. They also frequently turn to me for my organisational skills, calmness under pressure, and ability to delve deeply into problems— and when they need random parenting advice or know where to find some of the best Singaporean food in New Zealand.
